Short Stay North Terminal is open 365 days a year.
The car park is manned 24-hours a day, 365-days a year and frequently patrolled by trained staff. The site has CCTV and security lighting in addition to being an on-site parking facility next to the terminal within the Gatwick airport perimeter. Park Mark 'Safer Parking' approved.
Facilities for disabled persons
Blue Badge parking with wide bays and easy access are provided on various levels of both car parks 5 and 6. For your convenience Gatwick suggests using level 3 of car park 5 as this gives direct, same level access to the terminal building. Car park 5 has a height restriction of 1.8m. Car park 6 has a height restriction of 2.1m.
Car and trailer restrictions
Trailers are not permitted.
This car park cannot accept Trailers.
Cancellations made with at least 48 hrs notice are refunded in full. Within 48 hrs bookings are charged in full.
On entry to the Long Stay South car park, take a ticket and follow signs to the zone indicated. Make a note of zone and nearest bus stop. Your booking reference will be printed on the ticket. If instead it says "Cashier", report to customer services on your return.
Courtesy coach transfers to and from the South Terminal operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Transfers operate every 10 minutes and take 5 minutes.
Distance To Airport
Long Stay South is located at the airport and is just 5 minutes from the South Terminal.
On your return follow signs for Long Stay car parks to the Bus Stops. Before boarding the coach check it is going to the zone you have parked in and tell the driver which zone you require. To exit the car park, insert your entry ticket into the machine at the barrier. Your number plate will be read and the barrier will lift automatically. If your ticket has "Cashier" printed on it, report to customer services by the exit.
Value for money:
"I am a frequent user of this car park and like its proximity to the airport. The transfer service has always been good, the drivers helpful and courteous. On this occasion there was a long delay in the baggage hall following my return flight. I overstayed my booked period by 45 minutes. I find a Â£15 charge for this excessive. It is incompatible with the other aspects of the service provide as it seeks to take advantage of customers experience short delays. Excess charges should be more proportionate to the length of time the car was parked."

"Only problem we encountered on return was that as soon as the bus driver saw the purple parking logo on my paperwork he wanted to send us to a different level to go to a different car park, fortunately there was another car park employee present who looked closer at our paperwork and confirmed we were at the right bus stop. Other than that really can't complain."

"Once having booked on line it was simplicity in the extreme. Just drove up to the appropriately specified car park, drew the ticket from the machine and parked. In less than 5 minutes we were on the bus and on our way to the terminal. On our return the bus took us within yards of our car, we loaded our suitcases in and drove off. At the barrier we inserted the ticket (kept very safe during our holiday) and we were away off home within minutes. Couldn't have wished for anything easier. It was cheaper than a night in a hotel and we would certainly use it again."
