PLEASE NOTE: All bookings will require a relevant Entry and Exit time. Customers will be allowed a 6 hour grace period either side of the entry and exit times. If this grace period is breached overstay charges will apply. The transfer bus for this car park only serves Terminals 1 & 3.


Cancellations made with at least 48 hrs notice are refunded in full. Within 48 hrs bookings are charged in full.

Arrival Procedure

When arriving at the car park, please ensure that you have your car park booking reference number at hand.

The car park entry devices should recognise your vehicle number plate, a token will be provided and the barrier should open automatically. If the barriers do not open automatically, press the help button and quote your booking reference to the attendant.

Transfer Details

Transfers to and from Terminals 1 & 3 operate every 10 minutes, 24 hours a day and take just 5 minutes.

Manchester LongStay T1 & T3 is located approximately ½ a mile from the terminals.

Departure Procedure

When departing from the car park, please ensure that you have your car park entry token and booking reference number at hand. At the exit barrier please insert the token into the device. If the barriers do not then open, press the help button for further assistance. If prompted to settle an over-stay payment please use the integrated chip and pin device.

"We didnt actually use the courtesy bus as it was literally 5 minutes walk from the car park to terminal3.Easy to find,registration number recognition on the way in and out meant the barrier just went up with no need for tokens-simple!"

"I made a terrible mistake when booking, I booked in to Car Park for Terminal 1&3 when I should have booked for Terminal 2. However while looking for the correct location I pulled in to a short stay carpark, where your very competent staff, rearranged my booking, and then took me to the correct car park. What a wonderful service, and how kind of them. I don't know if it is possible, but I think it would have been easier for me to find the correct park if I could access an arial view of the park location on something like google maps. Possibly it is there already, I shall look. Once again many thanks A.Wigmore"

"Only slight problem was that on leaving, despite entering our token, we were asked to pay £130 ! However, once we used the intercom system, that was quickly remedied.This car park is so close to the airport, and fees are very reasonable. We use it often."

"Straightforward process to book. No ratings for car park customer service as it was all automatic (but no problems anyway). We walked to and from the terminal each time so we didn't need to use the minibus. However, on our outward trip the bus driver saw we were unloading from the car and offered to wait. Please let the bus drivers know we appreciated this, even though we had decided to walk just for the exercise!"

"Booking was easy. The barrier lifted on arrival. No problem finding a parking spot. Bus was only 5 minutes and transfer time very quick. On returning bus was probably 10 minutes. Barrier lifted when I put the token in to exit the car park. Overall, smooth and easy experience. Would definitely recommend this service."

"Do not use mini-bus as T1 / T3 Long Stay, 10 minutes walk from Terminal 1. Overall service very good and ease of booking. As a blue badge holder using car park every weekend (Thursday / Sunday) I find on regular basis that persons without blue badge parks in disabled spot."

"I use this car park because I can walk to the terminal - bus services are generally awful to the car parks at Manchester. They are intermittent & the drivers miserable. However, that is no fault of Purple Parking."

"We walked to the terminal so I can't comment on the bus sorry. We lost our token to exit the car park whilst on holiday, I pressed the buzzer for help, very prompt response and help was efficient to get us on our way home."
